Dr Jha completed his speciality registrar training in Anaesthetics and Intensive Care in Northern Ireland and Wales. He has been a consultant since 2013 practicing at St George’s Hospital (London) and Watford General Hospital (England).

Dr Jha covers all routine DGH specialties along with Intensive Care. He is also the governance lead for the department since Feb 2022.

He has been a specialist advisor to the Care Quality Commission (2019-2021).
