Rapid Access to Scope Procedures - Carol's Experience

Carol was a recent patient at Kingsbridge Diagnoostic & Treatment Centre, Belfast who tells her story of how she was able to access an endoscopy procedure quickly to give her the reassurance that she was looking for.

"I had been experiencing some heartburn, and I’d noticed a change in my swallow.

So I went along to see my GP and was red flagged for an endoscopy.

I was told that it could be a few weeks before I would be seen but I wanted some reassurance.

I called Kingsbridge Private Hospital and was triaged over the phone and I was booked in for an endoscopy the next day.

The clinical team were very reassuring and put me at ease.

My endoscopy only took a few minutes and my results confirmed that there was nothing serious wrong and it was such a relief.

I would 100% recommend Kingsbridge."
