Group Estates Officer

Kingsbridge Healthcare Group are currently seeking to fill the role of Group Estates Officer within the Estates Department. The successful candidate will be based at Kingsbridge Private Hospital but may be required to travel to other Company locations as and when required.

Job Summary

The Estates Officer will support the Estates department to ensure that the buildings and assets within Group locations are maintained to the highest standards in line with all legal and regulatory requirements. The EO will implement, update, and maintain ZetaSafe (the Estates compliance platform), they will complete scheduled audits & surveys and ensure record keeping is aligned across the Group. Provision of project coordination and support will be an integral part of their role. Creation and subsequent interrogation of O&M manuals across all sites. The person will need to be flexible in their approach and be able to allocate resources to meet business needs.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Implement, update, and maintains Zeta Safe platform across the Group
  2. Provide project coordination to support Estate’s Managers in relation to contractors by organising meetings, preparing reports on work in progress, tracks progress, analyses facts and figures and updates managers with any additional costs
  3. Liaise with outside suppliers & service providers to confirm and analyse information on tasks, frequencies, costs and report on findings weekly
  4. Ensure record keeping systems are maintained in line with robust standardised department structures across the Group
  5. Support Management by undertaking quarterly site surveys and reporting on discrepancies
  6. Carry out surveys and audits of record keeping on all sites and subsequently advise on improvements to enhance the built environment.
  7. Creating and subsequently interrogating O&M manuals per site to extract relevant information regarding assets and maintenance schedules, hazards etc.
  8. To provide Quality Assurance for projects across the Group.

Qualifications

Essential

  • 5 GCSE’s A-C

  • Internal Quality Assurance
  • Auditing Course

Experience

Essential

  • Strong IT experience in Microsoft applications
  • Working in a healthcare setting
  • Any software platform experience
  • Auditing experience
  • Robust process implementation

Desirable

  • Quality assurance

  • Safety checks

 

Special Knowledge and Skills

  • Healthcare Estates
  • Complete risk assessments
  • Inspection preparation and presentation

  • Knowledge of RQIA standards
